Oceana Plymouth

DJ Reunion Plymouth Christmas 2009 - it is almost certain that The Best Disco Ever In Plymouth will be held at the splendid Oceana in the stunning NY Disco which is very, very retro in looks!

Watch out for the date which will be on a Thursday or Friday in December - everyone is welcome and all proceeds will go to St Lukes Hospice.We have some extra special guests including DJ Johnno ;) (Plymouth Calendar Girls Anyone?)

The TJs - ,we're hoping,  will perform plus many, many DJs from the 70s and 80s

Ian Calvert

It is with great pleasure that I can announce we have the legendary Ian Calvert appearing live at DJ Reunion Plymouth 2009.

Ian stated today that anything he can do for St Luke's Hospice would be a pleasure and he is thrilled to share a stage with me again! David Symons, Wavy Davy or David Saunders - however you may remember me!

Ian will be handing out some super donated spot prizes for the best "dance around your handbags girls" and there looks like a spot of Calvies Karaoke thrown in for good measure - rest assured as Ian said ".....this will be one hell of a party"

I so enjoyed working with Ian all those years ago and look back at the pranks we'd pull on each other with very, very fond memories!

We're on the hunt for that perfect venue and date PLUS some more 70s and 80s DJs to join in the fun and give everyone one great Christmas Party!DJs Plymouth Reunion 2009

Plymouth DJ Reunion - December

It is looking very much like the Plymouth DJ Reunion event will be in December this year - just in time for a major Christmas Knees Up like no other.

We are looking for a decent venue in a nice area so call David on (07538) 199694 if you are interested in packing your venue.

We've had interest from several ex DJs - who will remain nameless for now!  You'll know them

St Lukes Hospice have joined David Saunders on Facebook and that's another great + ALL PROFIT which will be a lot will go to St. Lukes Hospice so if you think you're getting paid - you're not ;) LOL

Fiesta Plymouth

Remembering after a conversation with Director (and all round good guy) when I loaned a coffin from a local funeral director - not a real Earl by the way -  for  my gruesome Halloween show back in about 79 and having used real guts from a local abattoir with buckets of fake blood - the next day the  funeral director came to get his coffin back and refused as it was such a mess

Funny days indeed - of course yours truly (and guilty) was at home nursing a shocking hangover

Plymouth DJ Reunion

Regarding the massive reunion of "old faces" top DJs of Plymouth from the thriving 70s and 80s night club scene.

Organizer and MC DJ Wavy Davy, David Symons or just David Saunders of Ab Fab Internet Marketing ! is looking for volunteers of all sorts.

David has already been in tuch with several "old faces" and one club owner who suggested ex doormen from that fantastic era also be part of the big show and rumour has it a couple will be arriving on mobility scooters!  One "old face bouncer" who was a most popular man about town type from the Fiesta apparently still owns his old oversized bow tie and will sport it with pride.

One other addition at the moment is a oversized - giant in fact - mirror ball with snow and laser machines so watch out for more from the big one

Plymouth DJs Reunion Show and 70s/80s Mega Party happening this Christmas.

Plymouth DJ's Reunion 2009

2009 is the year that a whole bunch of 1970s and 1980s Night Club and Radio DJs get together and put on one heck of a RETRO DJ show in Plymouth.

At the moment David Saunders aka David Symons ;) or DJ Wavy Davy is trying to get all the old DJs together to agree on a date - Christmas sounds good!

The venue is yet to be announced but will be big and come with a massive sound and lighting system plus each DJ with their own particular style.
